Acknowledgement of Country
Ancient Roots Gathering is held in the Nannup region, on Wardandi Boodja (the South- West region of Western Australia). We acknowledge Wardandi people as the original owners/custodians of this land where we live, learn, work and volunteer. We recognise their connection to land, waters and community and pay our respects to Wardandi Elders from the past, present and into the future.
We are connected to First Nations people, where we consult and act with respect and collaboration.
A GATHERING CELEBRATING WORLD MUSIC AND ANCIENT WISDOM
Come and join us for a heart opening, healing weekend as the rhythm of ancient, worldly song takes you into the vibration of unity and connection with each other and the Earth.
From the beginning of time, music has held a vital place in communities, serving as a powerful medium for healing and celebration through song and dance.
Our intention is to continue spreading music with a sacred purpose that allows not only to heal but also to transform lives and generate awareness in this beautiful land where we are apart.
The Ancient Roots Gathering promises to be a truly enchanting weekend, featuring an extraordinary line-up of musicians and space holders. Indulge in delicious vegan cuisine (included in the ticket) and immerse yourself in a high-vibrational experience throughout the weekend. It's sure to be a truly special and uplifting event.

Dinner with Nimrod
We’re honoured to have Nimrod Kazoom joining us for the gathering, sharing dinner with us on Friday and Saturday nights (included in your ticket).
Nimrod’s cooking is a love story told through food — rooted in the traditions of the Middle East and North Africa, woven with the simplicity and spirit of Spanish and Basque cuisine, and guided by curiosity, imagination and heart.
His food carries the wisdom of mothers and grandmothers, the depth of slow cooking, spice and time, while leaving room for innovation and the unexpected. He brings together tradition and exploration, creating food that feels both deeply familiar and entirely new.
For our gathering, Nimrod will bring this spirit to our plates— honouring where food comes from, the stories it carries, and the people and cultures that have passed it down through generations.
We look forward to gathering with him, sharing tantalising tastes across Friday and Saturday night.
(Please note: all dietary requirements & allergies will be taken into consideration, you will receive an email with more information after ticket purchase.)
On October 17, Ancient Roots Gathering joins a global meditation with people around the world, in a shared moment of connection and collective intention, reconnecting with our shared roots and shared responsibility.
As part of ORIGIN, we're gathering with the same care that regenerative practice asks of all of us — the understanding that we're not separate from the land we tend, or from each other. One small gathering among many, each adding to the same field.
This is a chance to put our hands back in the soil, pause, and remember our place within the living world we're here to steward, not simply pass through.
